Mechanical Shaft
This handle adopts a mechanical structure method that touches the lugs rather than air pressure.
It has the advantage of having the lugs folded by panel folders using mostly tapered corners, which is better than the air pressure method.
Standard mechanic
A shaft in which the lug is protruded by mechanical mechanism rather than by the expansion of the tube is called a mechanical shaft.
A typical example is to protrude the lug by using the taper (inclination) of the internal structure of the shaft.
It is used when the tube cannot support the load of the material or when the air inside the tube affects the work.
Curtiss patent
Reverse mechanic
(For vacuum deposition process)
A winding shaft designed so that the degree of air pressure does not affect the clamping pressure.
If air is injected after winding is completed, the lugs will descend and release the core. Conversely, if air is completely released before winding, the lugs will clamp the core.
No tube, no air leak, no air pressure
Impactor shaft
A shaft with a built-in impactor.
The lugs are protruded through organic cooperation of the structures inside the shaft by the rotation of the impactor.
